Activist actor Sean Penn hit out at President George W. Bush at an anti-war rally in California on Saturday, calling on the leader to be held accountable for the situation in Iraq. The Oscar-winning star told 800 people in Oakland's Grand Lake Theatre to do what they can to stop the Bush administration.

He said, "You (Bush) and the smarmy pundits in your pocket - those who bathe in the moisture of your soiled and blood-soaked underwear - can take that noise and shove it. Let's unite not only in stopping this war, but in holding this administration accountable."
