Lindsay Lohan was arrested this morning for possession of cocaine and being under the influence of alcohol.
The New York Post reports on Page Six:
“The former teen queen was arrested early this morning in Santa Monica for reportedly driving under the influence and possessing cocaine. She now faces two felony charges.
Lohan, who recently turned 21, was nabbed by police after they received reports of a car chase.
She failed an on-site sobriety test and later was found to have blood alcohol levels between .12 and .13 percent. California's legal limit is .08 percent.
Police said they received a call around 1:30 a.m. from passengers in a black Cadillac Escalade sport utility vehicle who said they were being chased by a white Denali SUV. Police met up with the vehicles in the parking lot of Santa Monica's Civic Center, about a block away from the police department.
When police approached the Denali, they recognized Lohan as the driver. The passengers in the other vehicle apparently know Lohan, but did not realize she was chasing them. “
